Four Axes,
one design.
From language, the first instrument of encounter, to art, a common language between peoples. Each Axis has its own participants and its own timescales; all answer to the same three parameters: beauty, utopia, the pursuit of happiness.
IAxis I · since 2008
Italian language and culture.
The Italian summer school for international students in the old town of Belvedere Marittimo. Morning lessons continue in the life of the town, at meals, at festivals and along the trails; students live in the homes of the village. For Italians, courses in the languages of the partner countries.

IIAxis II · 2012-2018 · completed experience
Schools and higher institutes.
For six years, students aged 16 to 19, selected by partner-country governments, attended Calabrian technical and vocational schools on scholarships, alongside Italian classmates. That experience gave rise to the network of relationships the Programme still works with today.

IIIAxis III · since 2008
Advanced training and peace.
Two weeks of training on peace, leadership and cooperation for young people from many countries, a journey through the villages for young people from Calabrian communities around the world, roots tourism, and advanced courses for graduates and officials.

IVAxis IV · since 2008
Art, music and artistic crafts.
Art and the skill of the hand as a common language between peoples: a music festival in the old town, ceramic panels created by artists from three continents, open-air cinema and documentaries on the memory of places.
