The context of the program
The Pythagoras Mundus Summer School 2025 offers international students an immersive experience in the language and culture of italy, by integrating education, crafts, gastronomy and cultural trips.
Excursions are an essential part of the program, allowing participants to explore the historical, artistic and natural Calabria. The intern selected will be responsible for the logistical coordination and accompaniment during the visits, turning every ride into an educational experience more engaging.
* Note: the program is suspended during the month of August.
Description of the role
The tour guide/coordinator will organize and lead the excursions provided by the program, offering cultural experiences of quality to an international audience.
Main activities:
✅ Organization of logistics of transport and routes
✅ Accompaniment of the groups during the visits
✅ Interpretation and narration of the places visited
✅ Facilitation of cultural exchange between students and local communities
✅ Time management and safety during the travel

✅ Art cities and villages: Cosenza, Paola, Diamante, Tropea

The Village of Wisdom represents an innovative model of experiential tourism and cultural formation, where every visitor has an active part.
The Pythagoras Mundus Summer School 2025 welcomes international students for immersion in the language, the traditions and the Italian heritage through educational, crafts, gastronomy and events.
The cultural activities it is essential to make any activity an engaging experience and a memorable one.
Description of the role
The facilitator will be the facilitator of the cultural experience of the participants.
Main tasks:
✅ Welcome and tourist entertainment
✅ Organization of evening events and shows (the Feast of Love, Tangorella, Karaoke)
✅ The conduct of thematic itineraries with storytelling and re-enactments
✅ Facilitating socialization and language exchange
✅ Support hands-on learning labs: kitchen, ceramic, dance (tarantella)

The Pythagoras Mundus Summer School in 2025, organized by the Association of Pythagoras Mundus, offers an internship in the field of management and event coordination.
The main events handled by the trainee:
